Charging your electric vehicle at our holiday park
More and more guests are choosing electric or hybrid vehicles, and we are also seeing an increase in electric vehicles at our holiday park. Naturally, we provide suitable charging facilities. Because charging electric vehicles places an additional load on the electrical network and may increase the risk of malfunctions or fire, we have established a number of important guidelines. Together, we can ensure a safe environment for all guests on the park.
Guidelines for charging your electric vehicle
To help maintain safety throughout the park, please observe the following guidelines:
Charging at your accommodation or camping pitch is not permitted
Charging electric or hybrid vehicles at a holiday home, chalet or camping pitch is not permitted. The park’s electrical network is not designed for this purpose. Doing so increases the risk of overloading, short circuits and fire.

Only use the designated charging stations
Charging is only permitted at the charging stations located in the car park near the swimming pool and at bungalow MH39. These charging points are specifically designed for the safe charging of electric vehicles. You will also find several charging stations at the sports park located at the beginning of the access road to our park.
Keep charging spaces available for other guests
We kindly ask you to move your vehicle as soon as the battery is fully charged. This allows other guests to use the charging facilities and helps prevent unnecessary occupation of charging spaces.
How to use the charging station
The charging stations at our holiday park can be used with almost all common EV charging cards. If you do not yet have a charging card, you can request one from a charging service provider such as Shell Recharge, ANWB, Vattenfall InCharge, Eneco eMobility or E-Flux. Many providers also allow charging through a mobile charging app on your smartphone. Payment by debit card or credit card is not possible.
Starting a charging session
- Connect the charging cable to your vehicle and the charging station.
- Hold your charging card or smartphone in front of the scanner on the charging station.
- You will hear an audible signal and the charging station will verify the connection.
- Once charging starts, the indicator light will turn blue.
Stopping a charging session
- Hold the same charging card or smartphone in front of the scanner again.
- You will hear two audible signals.
- The charging cable will be unlocked and can be removed.
